UNICO, the latest addition to the Big Bang Collection, was released recently in the Atlanta Market at an exclusive party at the Hublot Atlanta boutique, which is located in the Phipps Plaza.

Special guests at this viewing included Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe, Hublot President of the Americas Rick de la Croix, Atlanta Councilman Kwanza Hall, and NBC’s ‘Biggest Loser’ Dolvette Quince. Guests sipped cocktails offered by Moet & Chandon and they enjoyed food from Davio’s.

UNICCO’s iconic design features a column wheel chronograph and a dual horizontal coupling which is visible on the dial side. It was designed and produced completely within Hublot’s workshops. The UNICO is available with the arresting beauty of King Gold, King Gold Ceramic, Titanium, and Titanium Ceramic.

The exquisite collections, from the sporty Big Bang to the elegant Classic Fusion timepieces, are sold at The Hublot Boutique in Atlanta– just in time for the holiday season!

President Rick de la Croix at Lea & Roy Black’s Annual Charity Gala

The Blacks’ Annual Gala, Roy and Lea Black’s star-studded philanthropy event, returned for a nineteenth year this last weekend. With red carpet arrivals followed by a Grey Goose Vodka cocktail reception, gourmet dinner and silent and live auctions, this gala benefits The Consequences Charity and their Teach for America, Breakthrough Miami and Big Dreams for kids. It raised more than $12 million.

The auction items included Jeffrey Rackover jewelry, a walk-on role in an upcoming Michael Bay movie, a 2013 Range Rover (one-year lease), a Hublot Watch that was donated by Pieric Rick de la Croix, and his wife, and much more. Guests enjoyed performances by Flo Rida and the American Idol winner Taylor Hicks,DJ Trouble and Whi5ker5 with the Illbots.

“This year’s gala was one of our best,” beamed Lea Black. “The performances were over the top. We are very grateful to the guests for their support of a cause that benefits so many teens that have so little.”

Celebrity guests included Helio Castroneves, Jonathan Cheban, Bernard Hopkins, Joanna Krupa & Romain Zago, Sammy Sosa, Dennis Rodman, Sofia Milos. Gabrielle Anwar, Lance Bass, Karent Sierra, Inés Rivero, and Lisa & Lenny Hochstein.

High Charity: Re-launch of The Mourning Family Foundation

Yesterday in Miami Beach, MFF board members, donors, fellow haute philanthropists gathered for a luncheon at Prime 112 to announce the new name, new website www.mourningfamilyfoundation.org, rebranding and stellar board of The Mourning Family Foundation, formerly Alonzo Mourning Charities.

Board members include Stephen Boucher, Shakim Compere, Ralph Patino, Linda Coll, Salo Grosfeld, Michael Fux, Allen Furst, Albert Dotson Jr, Rick De La Croix, Ron Book, Jerry Powers and Tracy and Alonzo Mourning who have all undertaken the fiduciary responsibility of raising 3.4 million dollars a year to fund all MFF programs which include the Overtown Youth Center and Honey Shine Program.

Guests were treated to a very special menu curated by Myles Cheftz, owner of Prime 112 and delicious cocktails by Xante. BMW was also on hand with their latest 750Li and 760 Series, who transported the Mourning’s to the event.

Though blessed with superstar friends and successful businesses, this couple stays grounded. “She’s still a small town girl at heart. The most important thing to Cindy is her family and making sure that we’re all happy,” Cindy’s husband Gerber said.
